Privacy Policy

The Korea Stock Story ("the Service," "we," "us"), operated by 씽크몰커뮤니케이션(ThinkMoreCommunication), a company registered in the Republic of Korea, provides AI-assisted analysis of Korean listed companies for an international audience. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect a password (sign-in is delegated to Apple/Google), and we do not use advertising identifiers or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information only for the purposes above. If we ever need to use it for a new purpose, we will seek your consent first.

3. The AI Analysis and What Is Sent to It

To generate a report, the Service sends the relevant public company financial data and the analysis context (and, in chat, the question you type) to Google's Gemini API for processing. We do not send your account identifiers, email, or name to the AI model. The text of your chat questions is used only to generate the reply and is not stored on our servers. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat.

4. Public Data Sources (Not Recipients of Your Data)

The Service fetches Korean public-market data from OpenDART (Financial Supervisory Service electronic disclosure) and KRX (Korea Exchange). These are sources of public company data — we send them no personal information about you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except: (a) the processors above, acting on our behalf; (b) when you have given consent; or (c) when required by law or valid legal process.

6. International Data Transfer

We operate from the Republic of Korea. If you use the Service from outside Korea, your information is transferred to and stored on servers located in Korea and Japan. By using the Service you acknowledge this cross-border transfer. We rely on the processors' contractual safeguards for international transfers.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may request to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and (where applicable under GDPR/CCPA) to data portability or to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 11. We will respond without undue delay. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

You can delete your account at any time inside the app: "My Account" (top-right) → "Delete Account."

The Service does not use web cookies. The mobile app stores an authentication token in the device's secure storage to keep you signed in.
